Beer Dip
We finally had Indigo's official Birthday party over the weekend, absolute great time! I look forward to many more of them. This recipe I am about to pass on has a special place in my heart, besides this blog I am also involved with another Internet community. We are a group of ladies who planned our weddings together many years ago and now plan things like 2ND birthday parties.
This recipe is from one of those great ladies, I present you with BEER DIP...yah...you can close your mouth now. he he.
INGREDIENTS
2 Blocks of Cream cheese, softened
1 packet dry ranch dressing
1 cup shredded cheddar
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup beer, I used Sam Adams
Pretzels or Tortilla chips for dipping
DIRECTIONS
Cream together the Cream Cheese, dry ranch mix, and both cheeses with a hand mixer. Once blended add in the beer and beat on high until it sets up, it takes a few minutes for the liquid to mix in.
Chill for at least one hour and serve...yum beer dip.
This stuff is great and went super fast, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks JG.
This sounds like great party food, or even just something for movie night. Thanks for sharing! And Happy Birthday to Indigo!
ReplyDeleteI am so going to try this.
ReplyDeleteCould anything be better at a party. Wow! This sounds like a perfect dip for adults at a birthday party.
ReplyDeleteThis looks super! I would love it with pretzel sticks!

ReplyDeleteCheers,

Oh, YUM!! Wish I had this recipe at the start of the summer, but it will still taste just as great coming down the home stretch! :)
ReplyDeleteHow can you go wrong with a cup of Sam Adams LOL! Sounds yummy, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIf I said you had me at beer, would that be wrong?? This sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeletethat does sound good!! but then again anything that starts with cream cheese sounds wonderful to me! I do love dips!
ReplyDeleteNot surprising given the use of beer in so many other great foods including no knead bread, beer chicken, etc.
ReplyDeleteHooray! Glad you loved it -- it's one of my all-time favorites. Happy birthday once again to beautiful little Indigo!
