  3. My husband grew up eating a ketchup and mustard based sloppy Joe. I have been fiddling with it for over 20 years. Yours might just be the one I need to try.

  6. Oh, I definitely didn't hold back. I'd say 1/3 of the book is just me ranting. It's going to be a fun read :)

  7. I was always a Manwhich-type sloppy joe girl. Last week, I decided I was going to make a homemade version on HOMEMADE hamburger buns. I found a recipe that had rave reviews, added hot dogs (which I thought might be fun for the kiddos). The buns rocked...sloppy joes, not so much. Maybe it is due to my many years eating the sweet stuff from the can, I don't know, but I decided I like sweet sloppy joes MUCH more :) Long story short, I am SO excited about this recipe!!!

  8. I love sloppy joes. I must confess that I have no problem with using a can of Manwich. But it would be fun to make them from scratch too!

I was never a fan of Manwich type sloppy Joe, this recipe may have made a sloppy Joe lover of me finally after 30 + years! Thanks again. My kids are going love these!!!

  21. Ah, so that is a Sloppy Joe. NEver had one before. Here in Australia, a sloppy joe is something you wear (a baggy jumper) :) Pretty messy if I tried it with this one! Looks delicious.

I'm loving Spring, and imminent birthdays in the family.

  24. Three things we have in common: We use the same paper towels, we have the same tiled countertop (aren't those tiles terrible for rolling out dough?), and we both loooove sloppy joes! This looks like a delish and super-simple recipe... And now you've got me craving them at 9:55AM. Thanks a lot!
