Her First Haircut

Since we just recently discussed my bangs, and let's face it one of the most horrid trends of growing up in the early 90's - I thought it fitting to capture My Indigo's first haircut.

My daughter is like a child on caffeine all day long, when we asked her to sit still under this cape she was almost traumatized.  She was almost zombified!

My wonderful stylist friend volunteered to cut her locks since she too has curly hair. I wouldn't trust anybody else.

This weekend we rented a massive bouncy house that is going to fill my backyard for a belated party for Indy.

Just think of all the fun pictures I will have for you next week, not to mention Strawberry Lemonade Cupcakes - word

Enjoy your weekend!

Indigo is so adorable, I love her curls! At the beginning of March, we all went to get our hair done for a wedding, and the little flower girl (who was 4) was the same way, as soon as they put the cape on her she was scared stiff, sat perfectly still until we took it off! My nephew sat still for his first haircut, but cried the second time we took him (we ended up leaving).

What a little sweetie! I have pictures of my boys' first haircuts and they weren't smiling nearly as much. :)

She is SO pretty! Congrats on her first haircut! :) My little girl hasn't had her hair cut yet, and it's almost down to her waist! Won't be long before I'm clicking pictures of her first haricut :)

My son would have a melt down at that age when I took him in for a hair cut. She doesn't look like she minds at all. Sweet pictures.

Good morning folks, and it looks like the heat is again upon us. Try and stay cool out there, and be careful in the heat. Richard

Oh my goodness, Indigo is truly precious! And the way you photograph her and catch such wonderful moments and seconds is incredibly priceless! I'd be staring at her all day if I were around her . . . and get absolutely nothing done!
