Awhile back I saw a segment on Oprah about a fancy grilled cheese, I didn't use all the different cheese's they did...just my favorite Havarti. This is a great meal to feel *fancy* with but hardly spend any dough or time. It's a grilled cheese, but a fancy one.
INGREDIENTS
Bread (I used regular white sandwich bread)
Butter
Havarti Cheese, shredded or deli Havarti.
Roma Tomatoes, Thinly Sliced
Basil, Chopped
Honey
Oil (veggie)
DIRECTIONS
Lightly oil a frying pan, and put over a medium high heat. Place a piece of bread that has been buttered on one side down into the pan (buttered side down). Place Havarti, Tomato slices & chopped basil on top of bread. Next you will want to drizzle the honey on top, don't skimp! Place the 2nd piece of buttered bread on top then flip.
