Brie with Honey and Pomegranate

Let the countdown begin, my mom will be arriving in about seven days and I couldn't be any happier.….unless this happens to be sitting in front of me!

I am a CHEESE LOVER – WINE LOVER – SWEETS LOVER…I have lots to consider when it comes to a late afternoon snack or a very late evening one. This fits the bill, we have our Cheese and Sweets – paired with a lovely wine of your choice and well...

YOU ARE GOLDEN

INGREDIENTS

1 Wedge of Brie
2 tbs Honey
3 tbs Pomegranate Arils

DIRECTIONS

Do you like your brie hot or cold? Bake or microwave if you like then drizzle with honey and arils. Serve with a cracker of your choice & a nice glass of wine.

So spice up your evening already ! ! !

This looks delicious! I wish I had seen it before I went to the store. I bought a pomegranate, and I always have honey, but no brie in the house right now. It would be the perfect snack.

Oh man! I just bought some nice juicy pomegranates! I like my brie chilly, this will definitely be made at some point this week. I didn't know that those little seeds are called arils... learn something new everyday! Have fun with your mommy!

i have that saying (on first pic) on a necklace - it's always a big hit when i wear it ..

and for brie - i don't think i ever had it - i like cheese but NOT a huge cheese fan - i've been lactose intolerant my whole life - so i DO eat it - but not on the regular ..

Some ingredients are so fabulous on their own that you need to do so little to bring out their great flavors. This snack is definitely an example of that!

I literally just drooled on my keyboard! Does insurance cover that? I happen to be a
Brie FA-REAK! This looks scrumptious, and almost too beautiful to eat.....almost.

I could make a whole meal out of this brie! Yum, all I need is a good french baguette and a bottle of wine and I'm set ;o)

Julie - I just took my crackers and scooped it right off the plate, I also had my trusty cheese knife to help the process along.

oh my gosh! Really?! I have to make this. I love brie so much. I will wrap that in puff pastry and bake it for 20 minutes and then put the pomegranate on top. Yum. You've just inspired me to make something new!
